Mysterious letters
A few weeks ago I stumbled across this project by artist Lenka and writer Michael. They're planning to write a letter to as many people around the world as they can. They started off with a small town in Ireland, and are preparing to move on to the next one. Each letter is as personal as possible, and most are pretty random. Check out their blog here. You can also make a donation towards postage. I hope they get round to sending letters to Brighton soon, I'd love to get one!

Letter Topics
Here are some letter ideas to get you started:
- pretend you are writing to the love of your life and write all the things you would like to say to them.
- make some images if you don't know what to say.
- concoct a grand plan which you know you will never follow through with.
- give details of really awkward or embarrassing experiences
- describe a recent dream
I hope that is enough to inspire you and get you started.

Invitation to join
Calling all letter lovers
If you like receiving and sending letters, then why not gain a pen pal? The system works so that you are to be matched up with someone you don't know; sending and receiving as many letters as you wish. You can also go by a pseudonym if you like.
Letters are nice. They're like little presents in the post.
When you get a letter (or if you are particularly proud of your own) put it on the blog as a post for all the world to see.
